For this final project, Kafka’s The Metamorphosis was reinterpreted as a 30-minute short film.
The focus lies on the close collaboration between film and animation. The combination of live-action footage and a computer-animated character enables a new cinematic approach to the literary original.

Logline: When Gregor transforms into an insect, his parents turn away from him. Only his sister Grete desperately fights to get her brother back.
